Salary etc:

Salary in the range of $80,349 to $87,333 p.a. excluding superannuation; Permanent full-time.

You will be a key member of the State Land Asset Management (SLAM) team in Central Region, Rockhampton. The SLAM team are responsible for sustainably managing state land by allocating and administering tenure under the Land Act 1994.

The position operates in a challenging work environment and is responsible for ensuring the region’s complex land dealings are well managed, with effective evaluation, solutions and outcomes.

You will provide high level comprehensive support and advice to the department’s clients and SLAM team, and team leader in managing a team of assessment officers. As a delegated decision maker under the Land Act 1994, you will be involved in negotiating and deciding land tenure dealings for community infrastructure, major tourism and mining developments.
