NRMjobs puts something back

Since 2001, NRMjobs has donated more than $50,000 to environmental groups and projects, mostly in our local area.

Donations made in 2009:

* $250 & in kind support to the Canberra Sustainable Careers Expo.

* $2,500 to the Conservation Council of SA's Youth & Business Roundtable for The Green Guide: Opportunities for Young People in the Environmental Movement.

* $1,000 to the Biology Society of South Australia for a student Field Research Grant.

Donations made in 2008:

* $500 & in kind support to the Australian Institute of Biology to support the symposium 'Trouble in Paradise' (Emerging Threats to Australian Native Animals)

* $1,000 to the Biology Society of South Australia for a student Field Research Grant.

* $2,000 for a PhD research project (University of Adelaide/DEH Southern Brown Bandicoot Recovery Program for the Mount Lofty Ranges) investigating the use of blackberries by bandicoots in degraded habitats.

* $1,000 sponsorship to Minton Farm Animal Rescue Centre, Cherry Gardens, Adelaide Hills.

Donations made in 2007:

* $5,000 to Nature Foundation SA for biodiversity conservation projects in the Adelaide Hills.

* $1,000 to the Biology Society of South Australia for a student Field Research Grant.

* $1,800 to Nature Foundation SA for a 'Cats & Wildlife' brochure, published by the Mount Lofty Ranges Southern Brown Bandicoot Recovery Team.

* $2,000 to the 'Campaign to Save the Mt Lofty Ranges Southern Emu-Wren and Fleurieu Swamps' (Conservation Council of SA & Foundation for Australia's Most Endangered Species).

* $5,000 to the Aldgate Valley Landcare Group ('Valley of the Bandicoots').

* $5,000 to the Friends of Stirling Linear Park

* $5,000 to the Sturt Upper Reaches Landcare Group
